Expand Global Reach with Multi-Language Forms

Translating your forms into multiple languages in Form ASAP is easier than you can imagine. Follow this guide to enable multilingual support and ensure your forms are accessible to a broader audience.

Important Note

The field title, options, placeholders, and help text for the main language can only be edited from the Form Designer page.

Setting Up Form Languages

Choose the Main Language:

  • When creating a form, select the primary language for your form.

Add Additional Languages:

  1. Go to the Form Settings page.

  2. Scroll down to the Form Languages section.

  3. Select the languages you want to add. To select multiple languages, hold the Ctrl key (or Cmd on Mac), click on the desired languages, and then click Update.

Translating Your Form

Access the Translation Page:

  • Navigate to the Form Translation page. Here, you will find all translatable elements of your form.

Translatable Elements:

The translation page includes two sections:

  1. Form Translation, which includes:

    • Success Message

    • Form Inactive Message

    • Form End Date Message

    • Submit Button Label

    • Previous Button Label

    • Next Button Label

    Note: If your form has only one language and you wish to update translation-specific elements (like the success message), you can still make these changes on the Form Translation page.

  2. Field-Specific Translations:

    • In the translation page, you will see the main language’s text alongside fields for the added languages.

    • Enter the translations for each language and save your changes.

Preview and Test:

  • Once translated, visit your form. You’ll see a dropdown menu allowing users to switch between the available languages.
